This rotor was used in a University Lab, and has been thoroughly cleaned with mild detergents and solvents. The buckets have been lubricated and swing freely. As I don't have the centrifuge unit, I cannot test it at speed but if there is any problem it can be returned within 14 days. Though there is some minor staining on the inside of the rotor housing, there is no visible corrosion that would cause structural problems. The buckets are in very good shape, with some minor corrosion in the bottoms of some wells. They have been cleaned as thoroughly as possible and the bottoms appear smooth, so they also do not appear to have any structural weaknesses. New buckets (00482) are selling separately for $1,421 each, so this is a very competitive price for a mostly complete rotor set. (labequipmentparts.com)
