Shungite is ancient 2 billion years old carbonaceous mineral found in Precambrian Earth layers at the times when nothing else alive still existed.
Karelia, Russia is the only place in the world where the large deposits of this mineral are found with the highest Carbon fullerens content (on average 40%).
