General Description SP13 and SP17 series.


Two complementary series of connectors beautifully moulded in engineering polymers to give outstanding service in hazardous environments achieved by quality design to meet the IP68 rating, wire connection is by solder terminals (soldering skills need to be good), please pay attention to the voltage and current ratings and make sure any mains connectors are fitted by a competent person.

Warning: The solder terminals are small and close together escpecialy when there are more pins, if you are in any doubt please order the larger SP17 series as these are much easier to work with and are the normal recommendation unless size is a critical factor.


Description SP13 series


SP13 is a popular outdoor series. It is plastic with threaded coupling, its outdoor waterproof IP rating of IP68 connector makes it outstanding among other products. With a small panel hole cutout size of 13mm and a maximum panel thickness of 4mm, it is available for various option from 2 to 9 pins.
Important: To comply with the IP68 standards the cable diameter must be within the specified range of 4mm to 6.5mm.

Description SP17 series

SP17 is the medium size of the SP series. It is bigger than SP13 and can work under higher voltage. It is plastic with threaded coupling and IP68 connector outdoor waterproofed. With various pin arrangement from 2-10 the SP17 enrich the IP68 waterproof SP family with a medium panel hole cut out size of 17mm and a maximum panel thickness of 4mm.

SP17 connectors are only available with solder connections however they are easier to solder than the SP13's.
Important: To comply with the IP68 standards the cable diameter must be within the specified range of 6mm to 10mm.
