A beautiful Basque beret made in the traditional Spanish Pyrenean style in Tolosa, Spain, close to the Pyrenees.

This 'super luxury' model is the distinctive quintessential beret of Elosegui, boasting their fine quality of manufacture and finish.

It is the finest beret that Elosegui make.

Made from virgin wool and treated with Teflon, rendering it waterproof. It is marginally less soft to the touch than the Campan beret, but slightly more waterproof. The Super Lujo is lined with black satin and features a leather band with a red ribbon and trim. 

Elosegui

Founded in 1858 by Antonio Elosegui, the first premises were on the banks of the river Oria in Tolosa, near the Pyrenees and the border with France. Today Elosegui is one of the market leaders in berets and is the only Spanish company to make fine quality berets from weave to finish.  

Sizing

The primary sizing measurement is taken from the label of the beret. The diameter across the pancake measures Spanish size 11.5, which is 26.7cm or 10 1.2in (a tad narrower than the Campan). This size will only affect the look of the beret, and not the fit.

Measure your head (where the Beret will sit) three times with a soft measure or a strip of paper. Measure not tightly or slack , just comfortable and this should suffice for a fit.
