ABC DCC Braking Board
The LaisDCC 860065 is an Automatic Braking Control (ABC) DCC Braking Board (also known as an Asymmetric DCC Generator) used in model railways to trigger automated, gentle stopping sequences for compatible locomotives.
How it Works
The module acts as a specialized signal modifier for your model track
- Voltage Modification: It reduces the voltage on one side of the digital command control (DCC) waveform by approximately 1.6 volts.
- Asymmetric Signal: This alteration creates an asymmetric DCC waveform that tells on-board decoders a braking zone has been entered.
- Smooth Deceleration: Appropriately configured locomotives will slow down smoothly to a complete stop and remain at rest until the module is deactivated.
- Resume Travel: Once the circuit is bypassed using a basic ON/OFF switch or signaling line, the train smoothly accelerates back to its set speed

- Dimensions: The PCB module measures 47mm x 22mm.
- Decoder Compatibility: It works seamlessly with top-tier brands featuring ABC functionality, including Lenz (Gold/Silver), ESU (V4/V5), and Zimo decoders.
- Important Caveat: “LAISDCC DCC DECODERS DO NOT CURRENTLY SUPPORT ABC BRAKING CONTROL FUNCTIONS
- You must ensure your locomotives are fitted with premium third-party decoders that support asymmetric braking to utilize this module
