This filter shows no obvious blemish or anything that would interfere with sharpness or image quality. It ships in a padded Schneider filter pouch. With a density of 1.2 this filter passes only 6% of the light that strikes it giving it an exposure factor of +4 f/stops. It’s a large 6.6 x 6.6in/16.76 x 16.76cm square filter commonly used in cinema applications for the purpose of light absorption, depth of field control and light balancing. Manufactured using the highest quality optical glass, Schneider Neutral Density Attenuator filters are color neutral and may be stacked with other filters without introducing unwanted reflections.
