Vintage turn-of-the-century photogravure of an oasis in North Africa. Printed in deep, rich gravure, superbly composed and with excellent tone and clarity. The photographer is unidentified, though is perhaps by Emile Frechon, Marius Maure, or Alexandre Bougault, all of whom took numerous photos of Biskra. Printed on a thick paper plate, total dimensions 11.75" by 9.25". In excellent condition save for faint crease to top right tip and a couple light smudges to upper margin.
