The original solution for locking outboard motors or engines to a boat's transom. These are for use where an outboard engine is attached using the engine's clamping bracket.

The slot in the lock covers the two clamp heads making it nearly impossible for a potential thief to get access to them.

We make four sizes of slot lock (170, 195, 230 and 260 - please see other listings) because our extensive research and development has shown the importance of having the correct size of lock for the outboard motor you have.   Please note that this listing is for the Atlantic Slot Lock 170.

If you are unsure as to which Slot Lock you require then please measure across the width of your toggles once aligned up straight as shown in the pictures above.
If less than 160mm then a Atlantic 195 lock is required
If greater than 160mm but less than 190 then an Atlantic 230 is required
If over 190mm then an Atlantic 260 is required

The Atlantic Slot Lock is made from 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel with a tube wall of 3mm thick with no sharp edges and the lock housing is also made from a solid bar of 316 Stainless Steel.

The lock mechanism on all our slot locks have a high security lock with over 1 million combinations and is of Chrome Plated Brass and Stainless Steel construction to ensure it survives in a marine environment.

This simple to use lock will give you years of security (unlike cheaper steel powder coated). Few, if any, other manufacturers offer locks of this standard, indeed many products on the market will fail after only a short time in a marine environment.  Please note the above locks do not fit the Honda/Suzuki 2Hp/2.3Hp T bar type of clamps.  The suggested engine models are a guide only and can depend on the engines installation etc.
