As with all antique, vintage and pre-owned items, these may have some degree of visible wear, discoloration, tarnish, patina etc, which is considered normal. Patina may vary from piece to piece which is typical for antique hardware. I consider it to be in in good vintage condition, consistent with age and use, but you be the judge. One knob is stuck to the spindle but should not present a problem because the other knob comes off.
