Here's a lovely old solid bronze Victorian door hardware set featuring two solid CAST (not stamped) bronze door plates and two beautiful, domed bronze knobs, with a rich, aged patina that only cast bronze can acquire. Clean spindle and proper knob screws included. Ca. late 1800's per my research.

The majestic door plates measure about 7.5"H x 2-3/8"W; and are in excellent vintage condition (no dings, dents, scratches, missing knob collars, broken tips etc). Wonderful casting and design. Handsome knobs are about 2.25" and again; superb designs. All parts cleaned up....so you don't have to, unlike so many other sets listed elsewhere that are just junk, with dents, dings, paint splatters, corrosion and parts that are so rusted together you can't even get them apart when you try to install them! The sellers have done nothing to enhance them and most don't even know how to do so.

I don't sell junk. This set will be clean and ready to install when you receive it. These antiques date back to the late 1800's and are as popular today as they were then;  probably more so. They will last forever, are never out of style and good quality sets like this are getting very hard to find. And, so much prettier and better- quality than those cheap-looking reproductions you see at retail stores today.  Very collectable.

This hardware is old so it’s not like-new or perfect but it displays very well and I consider it to be in in very good to excellent vintage condition, consistent with age and use. Lots of pictures included; please review all of them carefully as they are a part of the listing.

I always encourage questions before buying; I am no expert on these and I want you to be happy with your purchase.
Age believed to be accurate but not guaranteed.  Actual age unknown.

A lovely set you will be proud to own.
I love these oldies; and so will you; but again, please ask questions prior to purchase.

There is nothing like antique door hardware to showcase your home’s decor and make your home look special.
Antique hardware made in the USA remains the "gold standard".  It lasts forever with proper care.

This hardware was originally used with a "mortise" lock  that fit into the edge of the door; but you don't need one; a "tube latch" will work just fine on most modern doors.  I can provide either a tube latch or mortise lock for additional cost.  The latch needs a square hole for the (square) spindle to pass thru.
Beautiful antique door hardware will make your doors look special.
You get what you pay for, as they say.
Again, I encourage your questions prior to bidding/purchase.
