LEFT SIDE WILL NOT FIT ON BIKES WITH THE STOCK AIRBOX!!!
Holes are 34mm apart center to center
These use 1/4" fuel line,
(the stock petcock use the next size up, and so do the carbs)
so you will need to use a fuel filter that will accomodate both fuel line sizes.
This petcock is made specifically for the right side,
(I can't find a left side specific new petcock).
but I have found that This Petcock fits both right or left sides,
but note:
The output will point forward on the right side,
and rearward on the left side.
THIS MEANS LEFT SIDE WILL NOT FIT
ON BIKES WITH THE STOCK AIRBOX!!!
BUT NO problems, if you are running pods or stacks!
On the Right side, I use an L shaped, 90 degree gas filter near the petcock, to help straighten out the fuel line.
And I run new fuel line across, from the right side to the left side carb fuel input, and from the left side petcock, to the right side carb input.
This avoids any kinks and allows you to install fuel filter on both sides. Works great!
You will also be able to get rid of the weird looking
"Octopus" diaphragm setup-
attached to the carburetors on the left side,
which is a much cleaner look.
THESE ARE Manual Petcocks- no diaphragms,
so you have to manually shut off the fuel when parked!
Slightly longer than the stock petcocks,
make sure you have enough clearance to fit.

These petcocks are non-vacuum, manual type,
designed to replace 1979-83 vacuum type.
Being a non-vacuum petcock means ~
You gotta remember to turn off the gas
when you park it, people!
Vacuum petcocks are major leakers,
and are getting to the point of being non-repairable.
The pot metal/aluminum corrodes on the inside, causing sealing problems,
and eventually the diaphragm ALWAYS eventually fails.....
When the diaphram fails, you wind up with a tank of gas in your crankcase.
~ Which pretty much sucks.
After having spent $$$$ on rebuild kits, only to have my old petcocks still leak,
I don't bother any more. ....Takes too much time, on a gamble that may, or may not work.
I would rather just put new ones on there, and be done with it.... lol :-)
This Petcock fits to right or left sides, but note that the output will point forward on

you have to run 1/4" fuel line from the petcock, I usually
put an inline filter between the petcock lines and the carb lines.
Also, these are MANUAL petcocks, which means that you HAVE to turn Both
Petcocks to the OFF position when parked for more than 5 minutes.
