Excellent book pairing the work of these two influential postwar Japanese photographers, with work from the late 50's and early 60's - Inoue focusing on urban views of Tokyo, Ichiro on the isolated, snowbound north of Japan. Both bodies of work share a grainy, vivid approach, displayed in 38 full-page plates. Uncommon book - OCLC shows only TWO copies in American institutions. In excellent condition.
