You are considering a One-Way Clutch / Backstop Assembly for use on 1" Shafts. This item does not have any type of nameplate or identification on it. Heavy built unit, but we do not know any ratings for it. Item is packaged in a plastic zip-lock bag with a sticker that reads; "Pt 14378 For use on Sew drive rollers 1.00 in. bore" (see last picture). Internet search doesn't bring up anything on the Pt 14378.
Clutch came from a manufacturer, that went out of business, who made conveyor systems. They used SEW-Eurodrive gearboxes on some of their conveyors and we thought the "Sew" written on the sticker might have to do with them. An internet search and looking through the SEW-Eurodrive catalogs we have didn't turn up any Backstops that looks like these. This may be a Backstop that they made in house, or had made by another manufacturer with no labeling. Possibly used on incline conveyors to prevent rollback. Being sold AS IS.
