Vintage/Antique Irish Lace Trim from Galway Ireland 

Antique/Vintage Irish Lace Trim Galway Ireland 8-1/2 yds of 1-3/4 inch wide Red Yellow Green Blue Cross Stitch on White

This lace came from a textile shop after it closed in Galway, Ireland in the 1970's. The lace and other fabric items from this lot have been in storage more than 45 years. Because these items were not sealed in individual packaging, I am calling them used for listing purposes; the lace has not actually ever been used.

It was purchased in a huge lot of which many varieties and sizes are available. The actual origin of each piece in the collection is not known absolutely although it is assumed to have been made in Galway, Ireland. In other words the shop may have imported lace from other regions such as France (some of it resembles the antique French lace I frequently see).
