For those of you who ask me to point out our most special pieces. This is one distinct pink gold color. On Peter’s pink gold color scale this scores a 8 to 9 on the scale with 10 being the pinkest. The pendant piece is totally hand made with a fold up bale to put a chain through. As well as a pin stem to be worn as a pin. Circa 1870. Granulation twisted wire, hand engraving and bead set natural pearls. The center is set with a hand carved Carnelion with carving quality of 9 out of 10 with 10 as the best. There is no damage to the ladies face or profile. There are a few very minor abrasions on the outer edge of the stone on the right hand side. The chain is handmade as well of matching pink gold wire with elongated links and “Y” shaped connecting sections. The chain and pendant both show almost no wear except as noted and are in amazing condition given the age of this piece. The both test as 15k. This world class jewel is most likely English in origin.
