Lovely old antique 11 piece collection of cast iron door hardware from the late 1800's.

This Listing includes:

2 pocket door plates that measure about 8-1/8" x 2.25" with 3.75" x 1.25" finger slot. Finger slot recesses into door about 5/16". Marked "7836 and 7837".
4 passage door plates that measure about 8.75" x 2-3/8".  Marked "7558 1/2"
1 Front door very ornate double key door plate marked 7851-1/2 (added later so not shown in pic 1 but is shown in Pic 2)
4- 12 point crystal glass door knobs. (8 and 18 point knobs also available)

A fabulous set! And, all cleaned up....so you don't have to, unlike so many other sets listed elsewhere that are just plain junk, with dents, dings, paint splatters, corrosion, parts that are so rusted together you can't even get them apart when you try to install them!  I don't sell junk. This set will be clean and ready to install when you receive it, even the spindles and set screws. And these classic 2-2.25” diameter crystal knobs are so pretty, don’t spin in their collars; have no obvious chips or cracks; feel nice and smooth in your hand; clear centers are not all rusty and corroded, and knobs are not rusted/frozen to the spindle. Again, ready to install using your mounting screws.


As with all old, antique, vintage and pre-owned items, they may have some degree of visible wear, discoloration, dust, tarnish, patina etc, which is considered normal. This hardware is old so it’s not like-new or perfect but it displays very well and I consider it to be in very good to excellent vintage condition, consistent with age and use, but you be the judge.  Lots of pictures included to get a good look; please review all of them carefully as they are a large part of the listing.

Never out of style, this hardware will last forever, and is so popular.  There is nothing like antique cast iron door hardware to showcase your decor and make your doors look special. The just don't make anything like this nowadays.  What you do find in retail stores is imported reproduction junk.  Who wants that?   Don't waste your time and money.  Antique hardware made in the USA remains the "gold standard".
