This auction is for a great reproduction of the painting, "Gilles and his Family" by Jean Antoine Watteau.  This is a small poster, measuring about 10 3/4" x 8" (including white space).  It is printed on a slightly glossy paper.  On the bottom it says, "From the picture in the Wallace Collection by permission."  It is a hard-to-come-by print that was formerly featured in a 1937 edition of Apollo (magazine of the arts for connoisseurs and collectors).  Because of its age, the print has a bit of yellowing (see photo), but is in very good shape overall.   It would be perfect for framing!
