This is a BRAND NEW Furnace Blower Relay with a 24 volt coil. It is designed to replace Rheem/Ruud/Weather King/Corsaire part #s 42-22444-04 42-23114-03 & 42-25104-06. This relay has five spades (wiring terminals). It is a heavy duty relay rated for up to 18 Amps. 

Relays are switches that open and close circuits electrically. In most HVAC equipment a low voltage coil relay (24 vac) is energized in order to open or close a higher voltage (usually 120-240) circuit.
