Also known as water spinach or swamp cabbage. Kang Kong can be grown as a bog plant on the edge of a pond or anywhere with perpetually moist soil. Best in tropical and subtropical zones. This plant can be cooked in by steaming or in stir fry or even in salads by using young leaves, stems and tips. Rich in iron and vit A.

Sowing time – Best germination at soil temperatures of around 25-30 degrees

Prefer sunny or semi shade position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 3-10 days

Harvest in approx whole plant in 45 days or leaves sooner
