This listing is for a genuine Norton OEM, UK Made, Outer Primary Sealing Kit, to fit all models of the 1967-74 Norton Commando. There are 5 parts in this kit. Norton part numbers are: 06-2581 "O" ring clutch and primary chain inspection caps (2), 06-2580 "O" ring timing cap (1), 06-0398 "O" ring primary cover (1), 06-2583 "o" ring oil level screw (1).
Manufactured in England, this is a quality kit. We have a limited quantity available. This kit is for use on all models of the Norton Commando except for Mark3 models. We have primary seal kits available for the 1975-77 Norton Mark III Commando in our eBay store. Also available in our eBay store are the 1968-74 Inner Primary, Gearbox and Timing Cover sealing/gasket sets.
Please note: Earlier Commandos used a fiber washer in place of "o" ring on the oil level bolt. The "o" ring in this kit functions better than the fiber washer. The oil level bolt and the outer primary case are the same for all 1968-74 Commandos, the oil level "o" ring works with all these models.
