The idea for this preamp grew out of the need for an all tube pre amp solution in a pedal format. Taking its cue from the classic sound of US Amplifiers, this versatile preamp delivers real amp feel and sound. Lets face it, there aren’t a lot of venues that will allow you to crank your prized Soldano-100 to its sweet spot. So unless you want to spend a bundle on a good attenuator and haul around a 50 lb. head, its just not a practical solution anymore. Digital modeling, on the other hand, offers tons of control options and definitely nails the portability thing, but for many players it still lacks the responsiveness and tactile nuance of an all tube signal path. My pedal solves these problems.
