Remains carefully read - it was the display copy in a private collection. It is Tight -  neat, no inscriptions or marks within. Appears as in my photos - this is the exact copy!!  A nicely preserved copy - superb!

Minimal discernible shelf wear to the boards themselves - the dustjacket has some nicks and chips commensurate with age, the interior is tight and spotlessly clean with 264 pages with a references section and an index. Both the book and dustacket are in very good condition throughout. Illustrated with maps and 32 pages of colour plates of travel through South Africa.
