This listing is for ONE (1), NEW, chrome 4" round mirror as found on many 1960-70's era BSA, Triumph and Norton motorcycles.  Also common on Japanese motorcycles.  This mirror is a universal fit left- or right-hand. It features an 8mm stud for screwing into many standard Triumph and BSA switch housings (see pictures).

The reach of this mirror is the perfect overall 8-inch size.  It is not short enough to restrict rear vision and not long enough to bash a car mirror.  The crown nut can be removed for hole through lever mounting.  Just use a washer on the top side and the crown nut on the bottom side (or an 8mm nut).

The round 4" chrome mirror is the most popular mirror for bikes of this generation.  They fit Triumphs to 1978.  We list short/long clamp on, bare end and UK manufactured mirrors.

FITTING NOTES: The compatibility list in not completely accurate.  Many British part books do not show mirrors in their pages, thus there is no direct part replacement.  You can no longer "putt" to your local British bike dealer and pick a mirror from the "accessory" rack.  Now you have to figure things out.  First off determine the mounting point and size.  Metric bolts are available at your local hardware store for pennies, purchase a short 8mm, 10mm and/or 3/8"- 24 UNF bolt and see which one screws into your switch housing.  This is a universal fit mirror with an 8mm stud that can be adapted to fit most any bike.  Many Brit bikes have an 8mm threaded mirror hole in the switch cluster, others have a 10mm.  Norton has a 3/8"-24 UNF threaded hole.  We have those mirrors listed in our eBay store.  Many bikes have a hole in the brake or clutch bracket which will allow a mirror stem to protrude through.  You can add a nut on the bottom side or use the supplied crown nut on the bottom with a washer on top of the perch.  You can also use an 8mm to 10mm adaptor if you can find one.  Email if you are unsure of fitment, please include the make, model and year of your beast. See our store for OEM British motorcycle manuals and parts.
