DESCRIPTION

This is a Brand New, GENUINE Spanish-made Weber 40 DCOE carburettor with ram tubes. These are one of the most popular aftermarket sports carburettors fitted to most 4 Cylinder and some 6 Cylinder motors around the world. Generally an instant power and torque increase from most factory standard carburettors.

40 DCOE's are an excellent choice for motors 2.5L and below, especially if you are going for a throat per cylinder application. Generally 45 DCOE's would be uséd for more race type of setup where revs are going to be constantly higher. A 40 DCOE will still give you that sporty feel and great induction noise, just without the flatspots that a 45 DCOE would produce for small motors.

The ram tubes are made from a high quality, spun steel process; not a cheap chrome-dipped procedure.

We Hand Prepare these carburettors, making sure that the following are set:

• Float levels to Weber Standard
• Throttle Butterflies are aligned and moving freely
• Mixture screws are set to a standard stetting
• Idle Speed screw is set to a standard setting
• Idle Air Bleed screws are set to zero

These are done so that we know you are getting a product that is more likely to bolt on and run, ready for tuning.

All parts that are listed are sold with a manufacturer's warranty of 12 months from date of purchase against manufacturing faults only. Our parts are for automotive use only. Under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or exchange or replacement if you change your mind or purchase incorrect parts. A handling fee of $40 will be charged so please check carefully that the part you are about to purchase is correct and suitable for your vehicle prior to buying. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to check and confirm that any listed part numbers, including OEM numbers in the listing, match the original numbers on the part you are replacing prior to purchase. Faulty Items: Please contact us either through eBay, using the "Contact Seller" link in your eBay purchase history area, or contact us directly at the workshop if you need to return a product purchased from eBay. Parts must be returned in good condition and unbroken and undamaged. Upon return, the part will be tested and depending on the findings, it will be repaired, replaced, refunded or returned. Where the part is found not to be faulty it will be returned to you at your own expense. We will not warrant this part if the fault is found to be caused by misdiagnosis of the underlying problem or by another faulty part which in turn leads to the failure of the new part supplied. Short-shipments, dead on arrival and deviation products must be reported within 14 days from delivery date.
