We have been manufacturing MX5 Rear Sill/Quarter Repair Panels since May 2012 and are pleased to announce our latest generation MK1 type A rear sill panels now with drainage feature pressed into the lower edge. 

At Last! Just what you need to preserve your MX5, Eunos or Miata MK1 MKI version from 1989 - 1998 models, (This model has the flip up head lights).

These are the same as our MX5 MK1 "type B" sill panels but without the lower lip, so they are as per the original panel you are replacing, but including our Drainage feature. 

All parts supplied in Primer finish, (colour may vary).

This kit consist of (our reference Type A) Rear Sill Repair panels for both sides of the car and also includes a step by step detailed guide with images to help you or a competent person selected by you to complete the task, (Sent to your email address via pdf file once payment is made).

This kit is designed to replace the rear sill sections as shown in the images, which I developed as I personally needed to repair my MKI Eunos, but was unable to get the panels to do the job, unless I purchased complete rear quarter panel, but as I only needed the lower section of the sill this was an expensive option to get the part of the panel I needed.

Produced using thicker 18 gauge, (1.2mm) steel to ensure your classic is preserved longer and to ensure easier mig welding. These panels repair up to the vertical joint below the rear edge of the door, and includes the lower wheel arch return lip, so please check your car to ensure these panels cover the area of rust to be repaired.

Please note: that due to paint supply issues, the panel primer colour may vary form the image finished colour, how ever all painted surfaces are of the same standard.

If you need a repair panel to run from the wheel arch to the joint under the rear edge of the door and need to include the lower lip detail, then you can either purchase my main inner sill bottom repair panel, which replaces the bottom section of your inner sill, (What you see when you cut off the rear sill panel) which is made from heavier 1.6mm, (16g) material as per the original inner or main sill structure and includes the bottom lip, and completes a repair that will maintain the appearance of the original structure,(That is bottom lip as part of the main or inner sill) or alternatively if your inner sill is in good condition, but your lost your bottom lip you can purchase my "Type B" sill repair panels, which is as per the type "A" panel but includes a built in bottom lip,( see Sellers other Ebay items). 

The step by step guide is based on replacing original sills on any MK 1 version of this car to achieve a clean looking repair that visually looks perfect when installed and prepared to the standard of finish shown.
