Our rounded pine posts come from Northern Europe, where plants grow slower because of the harsh climate, making the wood grain more resistant and suitable for processing.

All the rounded posts are impregnated in autoclave with a saline preservative and subsequently brought to a pressure of 12 atmospheres.

The impregnation process makes the wood more resistant to weather and pests, preventing the onset of mould and mildew.

This method attains and protects, in depth, the fibre of the wood, unlike other treatments that are limited to a superficial protection.

Uses: Wood is a building material widely used in modern construction as it is natural and ecological. The rounded wooden posts are used for the construction of fences and used in agriculture as support posts for vineyards and orchards.

Thanks to the various measurements available, from different diameters and from different processes, the rounded posts allow the creation of structures for outside, palisade fences, bicycle paths, fences for horses, civilian and sporting precincts, walkways and borders, etc.

The rounded posts are greatly used in environmental architecture and landscape.

Impregnation process:

Our poles are treated with a wood preservative Tanalith E and dye Tanatone vacuum-pressure-vacuum (SPS) in an autoclave.

The wood preservative Tanalith E (produced in the Uk and the market leader) has a soluble and resistant formula, containing copper carbonate and organic biocides, which protects the wood for a long period.

 Productive process:

Before sending the pallet of material into the autoclave, dividers are put for each layer of material. After which the pallet, with a special trolley, is loaded into the autoclave, the tank is closed tightly and initial vacuum is created. Thanks to this the wood's pores are opened. The vacuum is maintained for a certain time.

After, the autoclave is filled with a liquid substance prepared according to protocol and with a hydraulic pressure up to 12 atmospheres. The material is impregnated with an aqueous solution of an antiseptic preservative TANALITH® E or wood dye TANATONE®  and an additive TANAGARD (the additional protection against fungus and parasites).

Subsequently, the autoclave is depressurized, the solution of preservative and dye is discharged from the autoclave to the storage tank and it creates the final vacuum, which removes the excess of the solution from the wood. The vacuum is removed and the autoclave is depressurized. The technological process is completed.

As a result of impregnation, the components of antiseptic preservative and dye (or only preservative) are fixed so deeply into the wood structure that it becomes almost impossible to remove. The dried wood is protected from UV rays on a separate platform.

After impregnation S-P-S the pinewood receives hardwood quality, achieving greater resistance thanks to copper microparticles. The selected chemical elements protect the wood from insects, fungus, moisture and UV rays. Without contact with soil, this wood is virtually indestructible. In contact with soil and water, the wood will survive for at least 10 years.
