Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory was founded by Carolus Magnus in Hohenburg, Bavaria, in 1814.

A second factory was established in Selb, Germany, in 1857.

The company made fine quality porcelain dinnerware and figurines.

The mark changed through the years, but the name and the lion insignia appear in most versions.
