• The 38 Gauge Crown (pink tip) has 1 barb a side (3 barbs total) medium needle
• The 40 Gauge Crown (brown tip) has 1 barb a side (3 barbs total) fine needle
• The 42 Gauge Crown (yellow tip) has 1 barb a side (3 barbs total) very fine needle
• The 46 Gauge Crown (white tip) has 1 barb a side (3 barbs total) finest needle
• The Forked needle have a very small v  at the tip and are unpainted
  

• All needles have 3 barbs around the tip of the needle, they are packed in a re-useable storage case. Needles are 3" in length and fit all felting handles, including Clover brand. Our felting needles have been made with a little extra flexibility to reduce needle breakage when using, however when rooting dolls hair warm the head and keep it warm.
  

• Felting needles are barbed needles and measured in gauges (g) the larger the gauge number the thinner the needle and the smaller the barbs.
  

• The barbs on the triangular needle are randomly spaced over the lower shaft of the needle, the more barbs and the thicker the needle, the more wool the needle pulls in when stabbing with it.

*Care needs to be taken when using these needles as they are sharp, children under 16 should be supervised when using them. Felting needles are brittle and are therefore easily broken. To reduce breakages, use the needle in a straight in, straight out motion. The needle is best not bent, wiggled or put under a lot of pressure. As a general rule if the needle will not enter a surface with ease do not force it.
