Beautiful reprint from original Lithograph of the R. C. Gorman "La Donnas Visit". Beautiful, detailed print of a young Navajo girl in a beautiful shawl approaching the door of an adobe house.

R. C. Gorman has been called the "Picasso of the Southwest". He is an artist known all over the world. His works are in many museums and he is represented by galleries throughout the U.S. and in Europe. He works from the Navajo Gallery in Taos, New Mexico.

Sadly, Gorman passed away in November 2005 at the age of 74. When once asked how he would like to be remembered, he repied "That I was a hard worker and that I cared for people."

Framed in a 11 x 14" solid wooden oak frame with glass with double mat of black and mauve that picks up the colors of the print. Print is 7 x 9". Total dimensions with frame are 13 1/2 x 16 1/2. Great addition to your R.C. Gorman collection.  Note:  print is also shown with a black frame.  Let me know at time of purchase if you want the black frame.
