We are one of the few clothing companies in the UK that still make trousers with the detailing of the fishtail-back.
Tails & the Unexpected Ltd have been making corduroys in the UK for over twenty-five years. They are a high waisted trouser made from heavy weight corduroy cloth – at seventeen ounces (470g) per metre they are the heaviest trousers we make.
The corduroy is eight wale, that is eight lines of cord per inch. Sporting forward pleats, button fly and three pockets. The fishtail back lends itself to button-on braces or alternatively they can be belted up as there are belt loops discretely sewn into the waistband.
Unfinished inside leg which allows one to hem to their favourite shoes.
