Yamaha BB-VIIS Bass Guitar Medium Scale Made in Japan Serviced 1984-1985

Key Features

• ✔ This Yamaha BB-VIIS bass guitar is a rare and collectible Japanese-made instrument produced during a limited period from 1984 to 1985. It features a medium-scale neck, which is close to a standard medium scale rather than a true short scale, making it comfortable for players transitioning from long-scale basses. Purchased in 2026 after professional setup, this bass is in excellent condition with a well-maintained neck, fretboard, and electronics. Its exterior shows some minor scratches and dings consistent with its age, but overall it remains visually appealing for a 40-year-old instrument. The truss rod is slightly stiff, but given its age, the neck stability is expected to remain reliable.
• ✔ This model is a high-quality instrument with no case included, sold as-is. It is ideal for collectors, enthusiasts, or players seeking a unique Japanese-made bass with historical significance and excellent playability. The bass has been serviced and is ready for use, offering a balanced tone and comfortable feel.
• ✔ Key features include its rare production period, Japanese craftsmanship, and well-preserved condition. It is suitable for various musical styles and is a valuable addition to any collection.
