PRS SE Custom 24 Electric Guitar 2009 Flame Top Emerald Green Moon Inlay Tested

Key Features

  • ✔ Experience the exceptional craftsmanship of the Paul Reed Smith (PRS) SE Custom 24 Electric Guitar, manufactured in 2009. This model features a stunning flame maple top with a beautiful grain pattern, finished in a popular emerald green color complemented by moon inlays on the fretboard. It is a rare and highly regarded piece from the period before the Indonesian manufacturing transfer, made in Korea under WMI, which is known for its high-quality build and sound.
  • ✔ This guitar boasts excellent woodworking precision, a smoothly finished neck with a comfortable feel, and a high-precision set-neck joint that enhances sustain. Many players note that this early 2009 model offers a weight and tonal resonance closer to the USA-made PRS guitars, providing a satisfying weight and rich sound. The instrument has been primarily used at home, with no damage to the headstock or body, aside from minor surface scratches and small dings on the back and sides, which are hardly noticeable.
  • ✔ Recent maintenance includes string replacement with PRS standard gauge 9-42 strings, new pickup mounting screws, neck adjustment with ample truss rod adjustment, and octave setting. The string height is approximately 1.7mm at the 12th fret for the high E string and just over 2mm for the low E, providing a balanced and playable setup. The guitar weighs approximately 3.2kg, comparable to a Fender Stratocaster, and arrives in excellent playing condition with no issues such as crackling pots or tuning instability.
  • ✔ Included with the guitar is the original PRS soft case with minimal signs of use, a tremolo arm, spare springs, and a wrench. The guitar has been kept in a smoke-free, pet-free environment, and will be carefully packed for shipping.
  • ✔ This used guitar shows signs of age and use, including small scratches, dings, and some rust on hardware, but the frets are in good condition with no significant wear. It is ready to play immediately upon arrival.
