Epiphone Ripper Bass Reissue 1 Humbucker Green Day Mike Dirnt Model

Key Features

• ✔ The Epiphone Ripper Bass Reissue is a faithful recreation of the iconic 1970s model originally designed by Bill Lawrence. Celebrated for its bold sound and distinctive look, this reissue captures the essence of the original Ripper, famously used early on by Green Day's Mike Dirnt. Crafted with a solid maple body and neck, it features a single humbucker pickup that delivers a deep, punchy bass tone with a powerful attack, especially when played with a pick. Its vintage-inspired design and robust sound make it an excellent choice for punk, grunge, and rock musicians seeking a unique, bone-thick bass voice.
• ✔ This used model shows signs of wear consistent with its age, including scratches and minor dings, but remains fully functional. The truss rod operates smoothly, allowing for precise neck adjustments, and the neck has been set with minor warping and twisting that do not affect playability. The frets show slight wear but retain sufficient height for comfortable playing. Notable modifications include replaced nut and tone pot. The instrument weighs approximately 4.7kg and is configured for right-handed players. Made in Korea, it comes with a dedicated gig bag for easy transport.
