This cassette deck is in fair condition. It has passed our 10-point functional test, with 4 item(s) not applicable to this unit. Note: The cassette deck is in working order, although the buttons can become stuck or stiff. This appears to be age-related, as the issue is intermittent. Otherwise, the unit powers on as expected. Cosmetically, there are a handful of surface marks and scratches throughout, but nothing that affects the overall aesthetic of the product. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.
The Technics RS-615US is a front-loading stereo cassette deck with a 2-head design: a super-permalloy record/playback head and a ferrite erase head, driven by an electronically controlled DC motor. It handles Type I, Type II (CrO2) and Type III (FeCr) tapes, includes Dolby B noise reduction, and offers analog VU level meters plus an automatic timer record/playback facility. Line and microphone inputs sit alongside line out and a 6.3mm headphone output, making it a practical deck for dubbing and playing back a cassette collection.
A great opportunity to own a Technics RS-615US at this price point.
