Vintage Rotary International (call-to-order) meeting bell manufactured in the United States by Russell-Hampton Company. Premium edition featuring the "Deluxe Top" configuration, three-dimensional cutout gear emblem. It is 9 inches, 6-inch base diameter and weighs 5 pounds, 7 ounces.
The bell has been left completely unpolished to preserve its patina. Table top gong style without a clapper, it was meant to be struck externally using the club president's standard meeting gavel and rings with a beautiful, loud, clear resonance when struck. "RUSSELL-HAMPTON CO." manufacturer stamping is cast into the underside as shown in the photographs. No date, but style, weight and size indicate it was likely made 1950-1970.
