LIONEL 6-8556 Chessie NW-2 Diesel Switcher, O Gauge, 1975-1976: Up for review is a Lionel 6-8556 NW-2 Chessie Baltimore & Ohio Diesel Switcher Locomotive #8556, O Gauge. This engine features a single Pullmor motor, e-unit, operating couplers, diecast trucks, and metal wheels and axles. Something to note is that this is one of the harder to find switchers of the MPC era.
This Lionel Switcher is in excellent condition for its age. The switcher was tested and functions well. It has been stored in an avid train collector’s collection for more than 30 years. There is not a box with this listing. Please see the photos for details.
