Vintage Lantern Slide Set Medical Pathology Dissections of Female/Male Reproductive Parts

Featuring references to sources from Cunningham, Muir & Ritchie.

An antique set of 11 medical lecturing glass lantern slides dating from the early 20th century (circa 1910s–1920s). The entire set remains intact and is housed in its original Thomas Illingworth & Co. Ltd. "Slogas" Gaslight Lantern Plates box.

This is likely a teaching module on reproductive anatomy, clinical gynaecology and pathology. The slides are chronologically hand-numbered 1 through 11 in ink along their taped borders, as used possibly by a university professor or medical lecturer over a century ago.
Each slide features crisp, high-contrast photographic text-book reproductions of intricate line illustrations, microscopic views, and formal English descriptive labels—there are no blank or text-only "filler" slides.
One clear aspect of this specific set is that it was custom-compiled across the leading British medical authorities of the time, including:

Condition
The 11 glass plates are well-preserved, structurally intact with only minor dust to surfaces and no cracks or other damage. The emulsion remains crisp with great contrast, and the perimeter binding tape is in very good condition given its age. The original Illingworth Slogas box shows standard vintage shelf wear, rubbing, and aging appropriate for its 100 years, adding excellent display appeal.
