YAMAHA SL-800 [Used] Electric Guitar

Description

The Yamaha 'SL (Studio Lord)' LP copy model, which was part of their lineup in the 70s and 80s, is now available! We have received the 'SL-800', which was one of the higher-end models in that series!
Featuring a mahogany body, maple top, and rosewood fingerboard, this model followed the SL-1200 and SL-1000 in the lineup. Around 1981, the higher-end models were discontinued, and this model reigned as the de facto top-of-the-line model. You can enjoy the sound characteristic of Japanese vintage guitars, showcasing the skills of Yamaha craftsmen from over 40 years ago.

Detailed description: Overall, there are noticeable scratches, dents, and paint clouding. The paint changes on the side of the body are particularly noticeable. The truss rod is functioning well, with ample adjustment range in both forward and reverse directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. As this is a vintage instrument, there are some minor warping and twisting. This is somewhat mitigated by the setup, but some buzzing may be felt depending on how you play. The frets show wear mainly in the lower positions of the 1st to 3rd strings, but it does not affect playability. [Replaced parts]: Volume pot, escutcheon, PU cover [Weight]: Approx. 4.5kg [Country of manufacture]: Japan [Handedness]: Right-handed
