Up for bid is an antique size 12 sterling silver sewing thimble by Simons Brothers.  The thimble is 15/16 inch tall and weighs 7.23 grams.  It has a standard dimpled top and a wide band of repeating flat panels separated by vertical scrolled bands.  It is marked “12” on the side.  It is marked with the Simons Bros trademark and “STERLING SILVER” inside the top.  It has not been monogrammed.

Condition on the thimble is good.  There are just normal signs of use.  A nice old thimble.
