4.73 gram triangular slice of the rare and historic Faith H5 stony-iron meteorite that was recoverd in Perkins County, South Dakota in 1952.  This rarer meteorite slice is a great example of a high iron stony-iron that has undergone moderate heating on its parent asteroid.  This seldon seen meteorite slice has a single polished that reveals metal fragments within its brown-black matrix and measures approximately 27mm x 15mm x 5mm. The Faith meteorite may be found mentioned in the "NMH CATALOGUE" #5 (2002).  A display case is included with your purchase.
