Offered here is a 7.1 gram slice of ABU MOHAREK H4 chondrite meteorite that was discovered in 1997 in Egypt.  Like many meteorite recoveries, the Abu Moharek was named after its discovery site, Egypt's Ghurd Abu Muharrik sand dunes.  This slice is a stony H4 meteorite that contains distinct well preserved chondrules with visible metal fragments.  This piece measures approximately 29mm x 23mm x 3mm and is mentioned in the "METEORITICAL BULLETIN" #82 (1998).
