(85) This listing is for an interesting item of Christianity / Catholicism themed collectable - A Vintage (c1970s) Italian Brass Crucifix featuring an Ornate, Baroque / Gothic Revival Style Framework. The corpus depicts the figure of Jesus Christ mounted onto a secondary inner cross overlay. 

The outer borders of the cross feature decorative openwork scrollwork and filigree embellishments, and the base features an elongated, stylized teardrop or pointed tip with a sunburst fluting pattern. There is a small integrated hanging ring at the bottom tip and another at the top. It is 22.7cm high x 13cm wide, it is in really good condition, with a rich brass lustre patina, and it would make a treasured addition to a historical collection of religious artefacts.
