Applied Processor and Measurement, Inc. Model 205 PWM Controller (PWMC205)

Benchtop pulse width modulation controller with LCD display, UP/DOWN/SELECT pushbutton controls, input and output binding posts, an RS-232 port, and an 8-pin analog input connector (red plug installed on the side, no cable). Used for driving and testing solenoids, valves, and other low-side loads. Cosmetically clean, with minimal wear.

What I tested:

• Powers on with a 12 V DC supply, LCD works.
• UP, DOWN, and SELECT buttons work, and the display changes between Freq, Duty, and Stat.
• Output tested with a multimeter: in Run mode the output switched on and off, and followed changes to frequency and duty setting.

What I did NOT test: operation under load, accuracy, the analog input, or RS-232. Not calibrated. Sold as used and as described.

Included: the unit only.  

Not included: power supply, cables, or manual.

Power: needs an external 9-24 V DC supply, which the manufacturer lists at about 75 mA. The output is a low-side switch, so the load needs its own supply.
