Yamaha RGX420S-D6 6-String Baritone Electric Guitar Super Long Scale

Key Features

  • ✔ This Yamaha RGX420S-D6 is a unique and versatile 6-string baritone electric guitar manufactured in the early 2000s. Designed for players seeking extended range and technical flexibility, this model features a super long 666.8mm scale length, allowing it to be tuned down four semitones (B/E/A/D/F#/B) while maintaining standard playability. Its extended range rivals that of a 7-string guitar, making it ideal for down-tuning, heavy riffs, and complex techniques. The guitar is favored by notable musicians such as Victor Smolski from RAGE, highlighting its professional-grade performance.
  • ✔ Equipped with a long-scale neck, a locking tremolo system, and a dual humbucker (HH) pickup configuration, this guitar offers rich, powerful sound and excellent tuning stability. The three-way selector switch has been modified to include F humbucker, combined F + R humbucker, and R humbucker options. The volume pot has been recently replaced with a new unit, and a kill switch has been added in place of the tone knob for creative control. The toggle switch in the direct switch position is a dummy. Overall, the guitar shows minor signs of use with some small scratches but remains in excellent condition. It will be shipped in a soft case, with the guitar only, and does not include a strap.
