Trumpeter - Soviet Su-9 Fishpot - 1:48 - 110 parts

With this plastic kit, Trumpeter builds the Soviet Su-9 Fishpot in a scale of 1:48. The model contains over 110 parts and shows the interceptor with its characteristic delta wing.

Two clear parts and finely engraved panel lines on the fuselage and wings support a clearly structured representation of the aircraft.

• Plastic kit of the Soviet Su-9 Fishpot in 1:48 scale
• Over 110 parts on 7 molded parts
• Model length: approx. 209.7mm
• Wingspan: approx. 84.3mm
• With 2 transparent parts
• Fuselage and wings with finely engraved panel lines

The fuselage and tail surfaces of the Su-9 were similar to the Su-7. However, instead of the swept wings of this pattern, the Fishpot received a delta wing with 53 degrees of sweep and conventional horizontal stabilizers.

In the central air inlet there was a shock cone with an R1L radar. The armament was four K-5 jet-guided air-to-air missiles, which NATO designated AA-1 “Alkali”.

Unlike the Su-7 and the later Su-15, the Su-9 did not carry cannon armament. Two fuselage stations were intended to carry additional tanks. The kit takes up the slim fuselage shape and the distinctive delta wing of the Soviet interceptor.
