I'm selling my copy of Foreign Affair, the collaborative photobook by JH Engström and Margot Wallard, published by Super Labo in Tokyo. The two photographers shot and edited it between December 2010 and February 2011, travelling between Paris and Värmland. It is a small-format book with no text, and the edition is now out of print.
Super Labo, Tokyo, 2011 (ISBN 978-4-905052-18-0). According to booksellers' descriptions, the edition was limited to 500 copies and runs 48 pages. I have not photographed a colophon or copy number, so those figures come from published listings, not from my copy.
Evidence for edition claims: The cover and title page read "Margot Wallard / Foreign Affair / JH Engström", and "SUPER LABO" appears on the back cover and title page (photos 1–3). The year, ISBN, page count and 500-copy edition come from bookseller listings for this title. I did not see them printed in this copy and am not claiming a first printing beyond that.
Good used condition. The black cover shows rubbing and light white speckling along the edges and across the back, the way a matte black cover marks with handling. The corners are slightly worn. The interior pages I photographed are clean.
Dust jacket: The black cover with white floral artwork is shown front and back in photos 1 and 2, and its edges show the rubbing described above.
