This rare French religious medal featuring St Peter and the Key is a unique piece crafted by French sculptor Charles Desvergnes. The reverse features a floral design over the left side. It is 2.5cm/1 inch in diameter, with a 1cm bail attached at the top. There are some patches on both sides but particularly the reverse of the medal of tarnish and plate wear wear, and faint scratches. It is not pristine, it has been worn but it is in nice condition for its age and still very wearable. The signatures and lettering are easily visible still.
