Here is how to set up and use the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap shown in the image:

• ​Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on top of the unit and insert 4 AA batteries. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position while setting it up.

• ​Bait the Trap: Apply a small amount of peanut butter or high-protein bait using a Q-tip or toothpick on the back wall inside the trap (opposite the entrance). Avoid getting bait on the metal floor plates or using too much.

• ​Place the Trap: Position the trap indoors along a wall where mouse activity is suspected, with the entrance facing the wall or along a direct run path (mice usually travel along walls).

• ​Turn ON: Flip the power switch to the ON position. The green indicator light will flash briefly to confirm it is powered and active.

• ​Check & Empty: When a mouse is caught, the light on top will flash green. Turn the switch OFF, open the lid, and tilt the trap to slide the dead mouse directly into the trash without having to touch it. Clean the interior if necessary before resetting.
