Beautiful antique Art Deco-era enameled metal mesh evening purse, dating approximately to the 1920s–1930s.

This striking flapper-style bag features finely linked metal mesh decorated in gold, black and white enamel, with a scalloped pointed lower edge. The substantial gold-tone metal frame is richly engraved with scrolling and geometric detailing and finished with a traditional kiss-lock clasp.

The purse retains its original-style decorative metal chain handle and is clearly stamped “MADE IN CANADA” on the interior frame.
