Good vintage cosmetic condition with general light marks, scuffs and signs of age/use.

Tested powered from a compatible National portable VCR. The camera powers on and the electronic viewfinder illuminates. Focus, zoom and auto zoom operated when tested.

The viewfinder currently displays a grey image with some on-screen text/indicators visible, but no normal camera picture was obtained. Because of this, the camera is not considered fully working and is sold as partially tested / for repair, restoration or parts.

Vintage National Colour Video Camera WVP-100N, designed for use with National portable video cassette recorders such as the NV-100 series.

A substantial early portable video camera with separate electronic viewfinder, large zoom lens, microphone, shoulder support and hand grip.

Testing was carried out by powering the camera from the compatible VCR. It powered on and the focus, zoom and auto zoom functions operated. The viewfinder illuminates and displays some text/indicators, but the picture itself remains grey. No further testing has been carried out.

A nice companion piece for an early National/Panasonic portable VHS video outfit, or suitable for restoration, parts or vintage video display.
